Manchester City have won this year’s Club World Cup.
The Premier League champions thrashed Fluminense 4-0 to win the trophy for the first time in the club’s history.City went in front after only 40 seconds through Julian Alvarez, before an own goal doubled their lead.
Phil Foden made it 3-0, sliding in at the far post to turn in Alvarez’s cross after Stones’s interception high up the pitch.
Alvarez then got the last goal in the 88th minute.
This victory means Pep Guardiola’s team has now won five trophies this calendar year, after lifting the Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League and UEFA Super Cup.
