Chelsea announce done deal for a world-class midfielder

The Stamford Bridge outfit, Chelsea have done it again, midfielder Alex Matos’ loan to Huddersfield is complete, the Blues have just announced on their official website.

Since joining in the summer from Norwich the young central midfielder has really impressed both in the academy setup and in first team training, where he’s been a regular. He’s even made his first team debut, coming on as a sub in two games in recent weeks.

That has clearly proven to clubs in the Championship that he’s ready to step up, and Huddersfield look a good destination. They did a great job with Levi Colwill two years ago, preparing him for the Premier League, and now they’re being trusted with another talented kid.
