English Premier League side, Chelsea have reached personal agreement with 22-year-star player, newsinfonigeria can confirmed.
According to the ongoing reports, the Crystal Palace man is equally pursued by rivals Manchester United.
Chelsea has verbally agreed to personal terms with Michael Olise after a similar agreement last summer. It is thought that Chelsea is currently in talks with Crystal Palace about timing payments for his release clause as they work to clinch his signing.Crystal Palace were willing to let the forward leave for a £60m price tag, which seems fair considering the French international completed the season with 10 goals in 19 Premier League games last season.
It is still conceivable that another team may enter the competition and outbid Chelsea for Olise, with Manchester United still interested, and the Red Devils may make an offer for the Palace star. A contract isn’t finalised just yet, but it’s a significant step forward for the west London club as they seek to lure Olise to Stamford Bridge.
As it stands, Chelsea are further in the race for Michael Olise. #MUFC are still interested though, and will look to do a deal once the manager situation is concluded.
Chelsea have now agreed personal terms with CPFC forward Michael Olise.
The Crystal Palace star is a complete attacker who has the most noticeable elements and will further improve the Blues’ game, so it makes sense that Chelsea are eager to get him. He is a tremendous player with remarkable capabilities who likes to score goals from tight angles and outmuscle opponents in confined situations.
Olise likes to operate from the right wing, which means we will have to shift Cole Palmer to the middle of the area, where he could operate as an attacking midfielder. Olise and Palmer in the same lineup will be a devastating duo who possess top technical quality and will cause havoc to the opposition’s defence.
He is also available for £60 million, so his signing is not so challenging. However, the main problem with Olise is that he is injury-prone, as last season he made only 19 top appearances, so the Blues will have to evaluate his signing carefully before making a move.
